Delete your account
You can delete your EzzMove account and its data at any time — either inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have it installed.

Two ways to delete your account
In the app:Profile → Account & security → Delete account. Runs immediately.
By email, no app required: write to ezzmovesupport@gmail.com from the address your account uses. You do not need to reinstall EzzMove to have your account deleted.
Request account deletion by email
Requests are handled without undue delay and generally within one month, subject to legally permitted extensions.
Deleting in the app
Open EzzMove and go to:
Profile → Account & security → Delete account
You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you are browsing as a guest and have never created an account, there is nothing to delete on our side — uninstalling the app removes everything on the device, and the guest account becomes unreachable.
Requesting deletion by email
Write from the email address the account uses, so we can confirm the request comes from the account owner. We verify that before deleting anything — which is why this is a request rather than an automatic button.
The button above opens your email app with the request pre-filled. If it does not, email ezzmovesupport@gmail.com directly and include the address your account uses.
What is deleted
- Your profile: display name, email address, avatar, biography and location text.
- Your personal schedule entries, including notes.
- Everyone you follow, and the record of who followed you.
- Your Going, Interested and Saved markers on events.
- Your notification preferences and every registered device token.
- Your in-app notifications.
- Images you uploaded, such as your avatar.
- Your sign-in credentials.
Anything stored only on your device — your Practice library and the video and audio files you imported — is removed by uninstalling the app. We never had copies of those.
What is kept, and why
Deleting your account must not quietly break things for other people, so a few items are kept in a form that no longer identifies you:
- Events you published that are still upcoming are cancelled rather than deleted, so the people who marked them as Going can see that they are not happening.
- Events you published that already took place remain as history.
- In both cases your name, logo and contact details are removed from the event and your user ID is replaced, so the event can no longer be traced back to you.
- Unpublished drafts are deleted outright, unless another user has already interacted with them.
- Other people’s Going, Interested and Saved markers on your events stay with them.
- Studios and classes keep their own record that a membership existed, without your personal data attached.
If you own a studio
An account that still owns an active studio cannot be deleted. A studio has members, classes and choreography belonging to other people, and silently deleting or orphaning it because its owner closed a personal account would cut off their access without their knowledge.
The app will tell you which studio is blocking deletion. Contact ezzmovesupport@gmail.com to hand the studio over to another owner or to close it, then delete your account.
How long it takes
Deletion started in the app runs immediately. Your sign-in credentials are removed last, only after the rest of your data has been cleared, so a failure part-way leaves your account intact rather than stranded.
Deletion requested by email is handled without undue delay and generally within one month, subject to legally permitted extensions.
Data may remain temporarily in provider backups according to the provider’s technical backup and retention processes, where applicable.
